About three years ago, this long-time La Candelaria resident set out a few objects for sale on the sidewalk at Carrera 3 and Calle 10. Since then, the informal flea market has become a neighborhood landmark, a gathering spot for neighbors, and perhaps even a business, altho I can't swear that I've ever seen anybody but myself buy anything.
But if you're looking for a book, a near- or not-so-near antique, a picture for the wall, a kitchen appliance that might work or even a construction helmet, you just might find it here. And even if you don't, you'll have a pleasant time looking for it.

I used to live on K3 2-96. So the NE corner but not the very corner, which was a panaderia. I had the ground floor, so either the property in this post or right across the street (below the tienda).
ReplyDeleteActually, that looks like the NE corner in which case they've consolidated the corner and up-from-the-corner properties.
ReplyDeleteI really like the house, i don't know about the stuff, nice shots.
