Today I happened to come upon the changing of the guards by the Presidential Palace, La Casa de Nariño, just as it was winding up. It was the first time I'd seen it.
It's nice, I suppose, to see the military in peacable performance. I was also struck by the soldiers' (mostly female) fan club, as well as the way that the young men celebrated the end of their peformance, which must represent lots of time and training for them.
